It was 2 AM the night before our flight when I decided to finally go to bed. Kevin and I had been preparing for weeks before moving to Barcelona, Spain, but inevitably there was still a list of to-do items that hadn’t been finished. So there we were in the middle of the night, surrounded by suitcases and boxes, completely exhausted and trying to take care of the final last minute details – hoping this long day would eventually land us in Barcelona.
